April NiemiHello everyone! My name is April Niemi and I am so happy to be part of the Design Team. My husband and I were just married last May in Disney World and we are currently expecting our first child.
My mom gave me my first scrapbook kit when I was in high school and I loved it. For the last couple of years I have been very excited to start scrapbooking and being able to go on adventures so I have something to scrapbook. I also started stamping a couple of years ago, which has created an obsession that I share with my best friend.
In my free time, besides crafting, I love reading, watching movies, traveling and spending time with my family. My goal before the end of the year is to complete my scrapbooks. I just purchased the We R Memory Keepers albums and am very excited to start organizing my thousands of pictures from all our trips. Reminisce - Autumn Harvest Project April created this fabulously sweet 12x12 "Thanksgiving" hanging with the Reminisce line "Autumn Harvest." Using her knowledge of the Cricut, she cut out "Thanksgiving" with the fall plaid paper (just perfect) and lots of fun embellishments for each letter! Adding glitter, glitter glue, and ink to the various pieces added a spectacular finish to the cutouts. April also embossed the green paper to give it texture. This is one of my favorite designs from our team! Love it!Authentique - Enchanted - Cards April used the Authentique "Enchanted" line for these card designs. I love that she used a circle and oval punch to create her pumpkins! What a great idea! Paper crafting with punches is brought to a whole new level with this idea. Watch the YouTube Video Here We R Memory Keepers - Hall Pass April created this Chipboard album featuring the We R Memory Keepers' latest collection "Hall Pass" and used the Echo Park Chipboard Interactive Pull Out Tabs book as the base. April noted that using brads in the pull-out tabs wasn't a great idea because it makes the tab hard to close.Watch the You Tube video here. Authentique -Lively - April created these bright, sweet tooth themed cards with the Authentique line "Lively."
