Weekly Product Reviews

Hi!  And welcome to the Product Review Section of ScrapVille's website.  Recently, I have been using tools and various items - some new to the market, some that have been out for a long time and when I love something, I want to share it with everyone!  So, I decided to start putting reviews out of products - whether they are new or old to the market.  Hopefully, you enjoy my comments, ideas, pictures, and hopefully a few videos.

Enjoy!

I love my Sizzix BigShot. The first time I used one was at Scrapville and liked it so much I bought one soon after. I use it all the time and love that I can use all the other dies/folders in my sizzix. I use dies and folders from Cuttlebug, Quickutz, Spellbinders...they all work. Love using it for my brass stencils too. Much easier than using a stylus.

I LOVE the Sizzix Big Shot and cuttlebug folders. I bought the Big Shot so I could use ALL dies, bigz dies as well as cuttlebug folders. Love using the Big Shot for cutting chipboard - and love the cuttlebug folders for embossing for cards, gives that 'extra' dimension and looks fabulous!! Love how Scrapville has samples next to the folders, nice to see how it looks 'up close' before you purchase it.

I use the bigkick machine it a (sizzix ) I use the quickutz, sizzix, cottagecuts, bosskut as well. All work well in my machine. Of course I have to have certain pads for them. The larger ones take a different pads. But it was well worth the money I spent. And just. because they brought out a machine that does more with a cartridge doesn't mean I'm getting ride of my machine. When the light go out I still have my machine that works. I one thing is I can't get enough dies. And they don't make certain ons .made a few requests for different dies I'd like to see but nothing comes of it . But at least I try. ~DL

Die Cutting and Embossing Machines Review

Cuttlebug Die Cutting and Embossing Machine, Sizzix Big Shot, Sizzix Texture Boutique - I love these products!  They are two different companies but both of their products work on each other's!  Awesome!  Almost all embossing folders will work on the Cuttlebug, Big Shot, and Texture Boutique.  I love the quick and easy texture embossing gives to a card.  In 5 seconds you have completely changed the look of a card!  And die cuts - We all love Cricut for die cuts but if you want something simple and quick, Cuttlebug and Big Shot both do die cuts.  Sizzix has partnered with Tim Holtz and Basic Grey, among other companies and is always working on new releases for die cuts and embossing folders.
