All three days: You will get your own 6’ table to use, if you come to multiple days, you can leave your items overnight, and just come back the next day!

We will have a demonstration each day with a Free Make and Take to coordinate.

This week we are featuring Design Team Member: Nikki Irving

In her own words:

My name is Nikki Irving and I’m thrilled to be a part of the ScrapVille Design Team! I’ve been a Snohomish County resident my whole life and 12 years ago moved to the east part of the county to enjoy the wooded, country life. We have five lovely acres for my two children, two dogs, and three cats to run and explore. I’ve been card making, scrapbooking, and paper crafting for about 15 years. I thoroughly enjoy the crafts and providing my children with their family history, but I also cherish the occasions spent with my friends as one of the valued times in my life.

I draw from various sources for my motivation and inspiration while scrapping. I really love idea watching….sort of like “people watching.” When I am out and about I look at advertising, signs, home décor, and just everything that is out there in the world and some things stick with me and end up on my pages. Other times it’s good old-fahioned idea swapping with friends or magazines’ tips that take on a life of their own.

Besides crafting, I enjoy spending time in our organic vegetable garden, watching my kids play their favorite sports, and participating in community service projects for the Boy and Girl Scouts.

I am looking forward to sharing ideas and projects with Krista, and her wonderful staff, as we dream up novel ideas for all you crafters looking for something fresh!

Products are starting to appear online to buy! It’s so exciting! It is a process to get everything that I want online but it’s coming a little at a time. You can now register for our retreats and classes online! I have a variety of papers, tools, and adhesive online now too!

Until further notice, all products that you buy online, is for in-store pick up only. At checkout, you will see that the shipping choice is “Free Shipping” and you can enter your address but it will not be shipped to you. Merchandise will be able to be picked up at the store during regular business hours within one business day*.

All purchases will be “authorized” to verify that we have the product in stock that you want and then we will charge you for the correct amount. You will receive an email to confirm your order and total. Tax is included at the end.

Purchases can be made using your Pay Pal account or as a guest with your credit or debit card using Pay Pal.

*Business Days are considered Monday-Friday.

Susan G Komen 3 Day Walk for the Cure

Two of my friends and I formed a team for the Susan G Komen 3 Day Walk for the Cure. We are going to be walking 60 miles September 16^th-18^th to help raise awareness about Breast Cancer and be a part of ending it! We wear our pink proudly and are walking a lot to train for this amazing event. Our team goal is to raise $7000! We are going to be fundraising throughout the coming months and ScrapVille is putting on a special Retreat October 21-23 where the proceeds will go to the foundation. Retreat Details are Here.

Kla Ha Ya Days kicks off at Snohomish Station with lots of fun activities for the whole family! ScrapVille will have a craft table for kids too! 12:00-3:00pm is the kid's activities and 1:00-8:00pm is the entertainment and other fun activities. Lots of stuff to do for FREE!

One on One time with the Cricut and Krista

Can’t make it to a class? Prefer to have one on one time with the Cricut and Krista? Here’s your chance. We are going to start offering one on one sections. You pick the topic and time on the dates available. This is currently being offered for all three of our Cricut Classes.

Please call or stop in the store to schedule a day and time that will work for you and Krista.

You can pick:

Beginner’s Cricut Class for $20 – 30 minutes

Cricut’s Design Studios for $30 – 45 minutes

Intermediate Cricut Class for $30 – 45 minutes

These are hands on tutorials so please bring your Cricut and Design Studios. If you don’t have Design Studios on a laptop or a Cricut, I will provide mine.

This is a new trial for classes. If this goes well, we will add other fun one on one classes with Krista!

Bring your project to crop night at ScrapVille! This is great chance to catch up on your scrapbooking while socializing. *Minimum 3 people required.

Beginner's Cricut Class - $10 - 6:00-7:30pm

Tuesday, August 16th - 6:00-7:30pm
Minimum 3 people, Maximum 8 people
Come learn how to use your Cricut! This is a great class to go over the basics of the Cricut, it's buttons, and features.

Intermediate Cricut Class - $20
Tuesday, July 19th - 6:00-7:30pm
Tuesday, August 23rd - 6:00-7:30pm
Minimum 3 people, Maximum 6 people
Come learn how to your more features on your Cricut. Bring your Cricut to class, along with 5 different colors of papers, your mat, and a few cartridges - including Plantin Schoolbook and/or George's Fonts if you have it.

Beginner's Scrapbooking Class - $30
August 20th - 11:00am-12:30
Interested in Scrapbooking but need a place to start? This is a great class that goes over tools, adhesives, and general beginnings of scrapbooking. Plus, you will have a double page layout done after class! Supplies included.

Card Class - $30
August 13th - 11:00am-2:00pm
September 10th - 11:00am-2:00pm
Come make 10 fun cards! August's theme will be everyday cards and September's class will be fall theme.

Copic Sketch Marker Class - $35
August 27th - 11:00am-12:30pm
Do you love to stamp and color? You will love the Copic Sketch Markers and how amazing your images will look! Laura, our certified copic instructor, will teach you about the markers, how to blend the colors, and make your images amazing! The class includes picking 4 markers out the day of the class. If you have more markers, you can bring them to class. Otherwise, supplies are included.

All classes required pre-payment. If you cancel 48 hours in advance or more you will be given store credit. Cancelling within 48 hours of class time, you forfeit your class fee. For our retreat weekends, 2 weeks notice to get store credit is required.
