Rhiannon ChristiansonHello! My name is Rhiannon Christianson and I am SO excited to be joining the awesome Design Team at ScrapVille! I am the lucky wife of Ryan, for almost eleven years! I am also a (somewhat crazy) stay-at-home mom to three kiddos; Maya (9), WIlliam (6) and Jorja (5) and two furry companions; Lucy the Cavapoo and Beatrice the crazy, calico kitty. I have been paper crafting for ten plus years now. It all started with the scrapping of my wedding and honeymoon and has now progressed to documenting the everyday, when I can. I love card making and journal making as well, and have actually taught classes on and off for the past five years. Paper crafting is my solace, a way for me to escape to a happy place where I get to create my own perfect piece of art. I love how scrapbooking me to remember the everyday and document these precious memories for generations to come. I love pretty papers and fun embellishments, I also enjoy incorporating stamping into my crafty creations. Ribbons, Bling and Tags are some of my best friends. I love taking the elements of card making and bringing them together on a beautiful layout documenting my life. My style could probably best be described as "Shabby Chic" though I tend to be a bit cleaner then some. I love the look of florals and vintage goodness. Crate Paper and American Crafts are two of my faves to work with. Little Yellow Bicycle - Just Because Rhiannon created this fabulous canvas piece featuring the Little Yellow Bicycle line "Just Because."Using a 12x12" Canvas, the 6x6" paper pad, clear embellishments, and chipboard embellishments, Rhiannon made a timepiece of her daughter to hang on the wall. Rhiannon makes everything look good with a clean, white background. Watch the video here 2/5/2013 Reminisce - Real Magic Rhiannon created this fabulously, eye-catching layout featuring the Reminisce line "Real Magic."It's a perfect collection for your trip to Disney or birthday party themed with Mickey and Minnie & the gang. I love how Rhiannon uses a white background to make the magical Disney colors of Red, Black, and Yellow pop! In addition to the Reminisce collection of papers and stickers, Rhiannon used the Queen & Co Magic Chipboard pieces was a great accents for the stars, brackets, photo corners, and phrasing. Makes me to want to go to Disney! Watch the video Here 2/5/2013 Basically Bare Funky Finding Booklet with Authentique Renew Rhiannon designed this fabulous mini book using one of Basically Bare's recent designs "Funky Findings." This design shows that you don't have to cover your whole page, using the chipboard as your base, use it for a border, and it turns out fabulously! Using twine throughout the book, really works with the chipboard edge too. The Authentique "Renew" line is so bright and cheery to work with - yellows and blues is a favorite combination. Rhiannon cut the paper apart to make embellishments and punched out butterflies from the patterned paper and Washi Tape sheets. Pearl accents were the additional perfect touch. To see the complete book, click here. 1/17/2013 Bo Bunny - Love Letters Rhiannon made these cards featuring the new Valentine's Day collection from Bo Bunny called "Love Letters." Bright pinks, teals, and red make this line pop off of a black card base.12/28/2012 SEI - Berry Melody Rhiannon created these bright, fun card with the holiday line from SEI "Berry Melody." SEI mixed in traditional red with pinks, teals, and silvers for this line. I love the color palette, great for holiday card making when you want something besides red and green. Fancy Pants - Home for Christmas Rhiannon used Fancy Pants "Home for Christmas" line and We R Memory Keepers Washi Tape Sheets to finish a metal star for her home decor and it turned out fabulous! The Washi sheets are a perfect use on this project! And then the banner "very merry" was with American Crafts Fabric Thickers colored with markers. Love the jingle bells and snowflake touch too.Click here to watch the video. Bo Bunny Mistletoe and Apple Cider Rhiannon created four fall cards from the Bo Bunny collection, "Apple Cider." These are eye appealing, wonderful creations. I love how Rhiannon took the time to trace the cat die cut on the acorn paper and cut out four of them to create her cat card. It's perfect! Rhiannon often uses kraft colored paper and twine in her cards and I can't help saying it enough, I just love it! Watch the Video here. Rhiannon also made a fabulous, over the top, eye catching banner for the mantel featuring the Bo Bunny line "Mistletoe." It is too large to get a good picture, so please watch the video here We R Memory Keepers - Black Widow Mini Book Rhiannon created this over the top mini Halloween book starting with the Basically Bare Tabs album, taking it apart, completely covering it, adding additional pages, and reassembling it to created this fabulous book featuring the We R Memory Keepers "Black Widow" line. I love that she used Scrabble tiles for "Boo" in the album!Watch the Video Here Reminisce - Here Comes Santa Cards Rhiannon created this fun, jingle themed cards featuring the new Christmas line from Reminisce "Here Comes Santa." The line has wonderful paper and stickers to work with...Add on Rhiannon's talent and fabulous cards are made. I love the jingle bells on the card too!Watch the Video Here Authentique - Curiosity Project Rhiannon created this fun three panel tag holder featuring the Authentique line "Curiosity." I love the colors in this line and patterns. Some papers are general and will work for any layout, card, or project, and others are school themed. Rhiannon created these three tags that are decorated front and back with the papers and embellishments from the line and added in Bo Bunny Double Dot Ribbon and We R Memory Keepers' Baker's Twine and Washi Tape. Another fabulous creations! Watch the Video about this project here October Afternoon - Woodland Park - Layout Rhiannon created these spectacular two page layout featuring the October Afternoon line, "Woodland Park." I had to order the line because that is the name of our local zoo and it's a fabulous line with raccoons, peacocks, flowers, butterflies, snails, and turtles. Rhiannon made her own banner with leftover scraps for the right side and used Washi Tape throughout the layout. Using smaller pictures on the left and large pictures on the right, helped balance the layout. Plus, different borders gave the layout a great finish.Watch the YouTube Video Here October Afternoon - Cake Walk Rhiannon created this fun canvas using the papers from October Afternoon's "Cake Walk" line. Using various circle punches, a butterfly punch, cutting out stars on the paper, and some bling, this canvas is complete and beautiful. The focus on one picture is perfect. Plus, the colors from the paper line coordinate extremely well with her daughter's dress. And take notice to the shape the circles make, a heart. A perfect finishing touch. Check out the video about this canvas on our You Tube Channel here We R Memory Keepers - Love 2 Craft Rhiannon took papers from We R Memory Keepers line "Love 2 Craft" and made an awesome banner, put it in a bright yellow painted frame that was finished with chicken wire, and added some additional inspiration phrases with clothespins! Amazing creation for her craft area! Watch the Video Here Bo Bunny "Friends" album and SEI "Desert Springs" Watch the Video hereBo Bunny makes wonderful blank, chipboard "My Word" albums. Using the book as the base and SEI's new line, "Design Springs," Rhiannon finished the book off beautifully! I love that she added "Best" to the front and "Forever" on the last page turning the book into "Best Friend Forever." Wonderful idea. Plus, all the twine around the letters and ring binding is was perfect touch. I love that Rhiannon said I inspired her with the flower paper to cut out the flowers and layer them to make her own embellishment. The Design Team always inpires my customer and myself so I'm glad I could return the favor. Authentique - Carefree - Layout This is not easy to photograph...I apologize...However, I didn't want to take it apart but it helps show of the Albums Made Easy 9 panel collection.Rhiannon created this page layout using the We R Memory Keeper's Albums Made Easy 9 grid and Authentique's Carefree line. A great use of the pockets. Lots of photos can fit in the Albums Made Easy and with the 6x6" paper pad and decorative stickers sheets to embellish, this is a beautiful, clean layout. A must see in person!! Watch the Video - Click Here Basic Grey - What's Up Banner Watch the You Tube Video on this banner here Rhiannon Christianson created this amazing banner using chipboard cut into the triangle shape, Basic Grey's "What's Up" line papers and embellishments, K & Co Smash tape, Distress Stain, and black ribbon. I love the Blackbird lyrics for the banner! Great inspirational idea! Little Yellow Bicycle - Hello Spring line Watch the Video at You Tube hereRhiannon created this mini book starting with the coordinating canvas mini book from Little Yellow Bicycle along with the paper and embellishments from the Hello Spring line. Very bright, vivid line that is perfect for your sunny spring photos! We R Memory Keepers - Down on the Boardwalk Cards Watch the You Tube Video HereRhiannon created these great beach themed cards with the We R Memory Keepers latest line "Down on the Boardwalk." I love using beach papers for cards but I think most people think of beach paper for scrapbooking. These are fun, everyday cards to send to your friends and family just to say hi! Little Yellow Bicycle - Swoon Line You Tube Video here Rhiannon designed these beautiful cards featuring the Little Yellow Bicycle's Swoon line. She added in some other papers from the Webster's collection "I do." I love that she made non-wedding cards with a wedding theme collections! Basically Bare Album and Crate Paper Pretty PartyAmy Tangerine - Sketchbook Rhiannon made this book with the idea of the Smash book in mind.
