I thought they were cool just to turn your 12x12 paper into die cut decorative paper - any color and/or pattern that I would want. After I went to CHA, I learned about card making with them too! We crossed the border of this seeming to be a "scrapbooking only" tool to a craft tool that is a MUST! You get three patterns in each punch (currently 6 designs are released). You can put different paper sizes in the punch and you can layer. You can even use it as a stencil! Just absolutely in love with this product. There will be 6 more designs released throughout the year. Pros: - 6 Designs - 3 styles in each punch, the outter, the inner, and a combination - They are coming out with more designs - Sturdy punches, you set them on the table and push down. Easier on the hands. Cons: - Like various punches, the paper can get caught in the punch. Just have to pull it out and continue on. - Some lighter weight papers don't work while with the outter and combination style cuts.
